We're accomplishing the (a*b)/c step in just five assembly instructions, for two elements! This is obviously way better than our attempt at the same dumb loop in Python, since we're not performing so many implicit allocations each time, but it's also superior to NumPy's vectorized array operations on the same hardware: even though NumPy is also taking advantage of SIMD, it's evaluating eagerly and performing a whole heap allocation before it gets to temp /= c.
